Before you dive into this list, check with your hospital on what they will provide. Most likely, they will give you a list of things they expect you to carry.

- 4-5 sets of new born clothing (brands listed below)
- 4-5 soft muslin clothes for burping, cleaning or swaddling – these are multi purpose, just check the size before ordering
- Going home clothes
- Cap, socks and mittens

- Mattress with a mosquito net

- Diapers (taped diapers work well)
- Cloth diapers (these are much gentler on baby skin)
- Cotton balls (I’m mentioning this instead of wet wipes because wet cotton works better on new born skin)

MOM
- 3-4 set of day clothes (feeding friendly)
